Men's Water Polo Players Named to Collegiate Water Polo Association All-Academic Team

Randic, Abate, Norman and Grimes Earn Citations

WASHINGTON, DC (April 4, 2002) - Four members of the George Washington University men's water polo program were named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) All-Academic Teams for their outstanding work in the classroom.

All-Academic honors were awarded based on three levels: Excellent (3.20-3.40), Superior (3.41-3.70), and Outstanding (3.71-4.0). Junior Srdan Randic (Zagreb, Croatia/Parkway South, MO) and freshman Greg Abate (New Haven, CT/Hopkins) were named to the AWPCA All-Academic Outstanding Team.Senior Kevin Norman (St. Louis, MO/Oakville) was named to the All-Academic Superior Team and sophomore Jason Grimes (Litchfield, CT/Phillips Exeter) earned a spot CWPA All-Academic Excellent Team.
