McCoy qualified for the NCAA Regional Championship in the triple jump with a leap of 50'7 ½" (15.43 m) at the Raleigh Relays last weekend. The effort placed him fourth at the Raleigh Relays and is the best by a CAA performer in an outdoor meet this season.
