Swimming and Diving Hosts Delaware Saturday

Oct. 19, 2007

  • 2007-08 Season Outlook

The George Mason swimming and diving teams open their regular season schedule at home this Saturday when it hosts CAA foe Delaware at 1 p.m. at the Aquatic and Fitness Center. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for youth and senior citizens, and can be purchased at the event.

Mason has participated in two events already this season, the Potomac Relays and an exhibition dual at Seton Hall. The Patriots performed exceptionally well at the former, scoring first overall on the men's side and second on the women's team at the Potomac Relays on October 5.

Mason boasts two seniors on the men's side and five on the women's side to anchor the veteran corps, while 18 newcomers join the Patriots in the 2007-08 season.

Following Saturday's meet, the Patriots will return to action on November 2 and 3 when they host the CAA Pod Meet, beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday the 2nd and 1:30 p.m. the following day.
