HIGH SCHOOL: Had outstanding two-year career for Coach Steve Smith at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA… Oak Hill won USA Today mythical national championship after going 31-0 in 1998-99… Averaged 13 points and five assists per game as a senior and led team by shooting 43 percent from three-point range… Named MVP at Reebok Holiday Prep Classic and to the all-tournament team at the Saint James Basketball Invitational… Was sixth-man on squad as a junior as Oak Hill posted 29-2 record… Shot 43 percent from three-point range… Spent a postgraduate year at Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, ME in 1999-2000… Received co-MVP honors as he averaged 15 points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals per contest while helping MCI to 22-4 record… Shot 44 percent from the field, 38 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the free throw line.
