FAIRFAX, VA ... The George Mason baseball team is ranked for the second consecutive week in the Northeast Coaches Poll conducted by CollegeBaseballInsider.com.

George Mason is ranked tied for 14th with Central Connecticut State in the weekly poll, in which coaches from the Colonial Athletic Association, the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Big East Conference, the America East Conference, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the Northeast Conference are allowed to vote. Mason entered the Top 15 poll for the first time last week at No. 13.

The Patriots take a 10-9 overall record into their first CAA games this weekend as they visit Old Dominion (9-14). Mason and the Monarchs meet at 7 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
