Durham, N.C. -- Sophomore Garland Ferrell shot a two-under par 70 and Furman carded a final round 292 to place 15th at the Coca-Cola Duke Golf Classic Monday at the Duke University Golf Course in Durham, N.C.

Ferrell, seven-over for the tournament, earned a share of 34th place with fellow Paladin Chris Gilliland. Robert Jamieson notched his best round of the tournament, a three-over 75, to finish 62nd.

Coastal Carolina cruised to a 13 stroke team victory with a three-round total of 851. North Carolina finished second, five strokes better than third place Duke. The Chanticleers' Dustin Johnson (69-68-70=207) edged North Carolina's David Holzworth by one stroke to claim individual honors.

Furman returns to action at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate in Nashville, Tenn., October 22-24.
