LEBANON VALLEY - The Franklin & Marshall volleyball squad split its first two games yesterday at the Lebanon Valley Invitational, knocking off Pitt-Johnston 30-23, 30-15, and 30-24 before being turned back in three games by Eastern.

Eastern gave F&M its first loss of the season by a 30-26, 30-24, 30-23 margin.

Coach Mary Kate Boland's squad will be in action again today at 11:30 a.m. against Neumann. Championship play among the two pools begins early this afternoon.

The Diplomats return home on the 19th to face Bryn Mawr in a conference match.
