Steve O'Day joined the F&M coaching staff in 1997 and has become the winningest women's soccer coach in Franklin & Marshall history. During his tenure, the Diplomats have adavanced to four Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship tournaments and captured the 2002 ECAC Championship.

A graduate of Millersville University, O'Day was a four-year starter and team captain earning All-Conference honors and the Scholar-Athlete Award his senior year. He went on to play at the club, semi-pro and professional levels in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

He earned a Juris Doctorate from the Temple University School of Law in 1988 and practiced law in Lancaster and Philadelphia for 10 years. In 1988, he was appointed a dean of advisement, the pre-law adviser and an adjunct professor of buisness administration.
