SWARTHMORE, PA - The final relay determined the outcome of Saturday's meet for both the men and women as Franklin & Marshall fell to Swarthmore College in swimming action. Today's meet followed the Diplomats sweep of Washington College on Friday night.

Swarthmore topped the men by a score of 107-98. The F&M men took first in the 400 Medley Relay and first in the 100 free (Phil Rehders) and first and second in the 1000 free (Derek Nowak and Matt Young), the 200 IM (Matt Jaffee and Tom Grabiak) and the 200 back (Jaffee and Young).

For the women, Swarthmore edged F&M by a score of 108-97. Kelly Landman (200 IM and 200 fly) and Jenna Walters (200 free and 500 free) each won two individual events while Brittany McCabe won the 200 breast. F&M also won the 400 medley relay.

F&M's men's record now stands at 1-3, 1-1 CC. The Diplomat women's is 3-2, 2-1 CC.

Both teams will be back in action on Friday, November 17 at 6:00pm as another conference opponent, McDaniel College, visits the Kunkel Aquatic Center.
