Chasen Named CC Player Of The Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Brandon Chasen, a member of the Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week.

Chasen, a senior guard, averaged 22.5 points and 5.0 assists to earn MVP honors at the 41st annual Sponaugle New Year's Tournament hosted by the Diplomats (6-5) last week. He shot over 72 percent in every category, scoring 19 points vs. Southern Virginia and a career-high 26 points against Alvernia. Chasen also knocked down a career-high six three-pointers to help F&M defeat the Crusaders in the championship game.

Chasen is the only player to start all 11 games this season and is averaging 9.5 points per game. He also leads the squad with 36 assists and 13 steals.

The Diplomats return to action on Wednesday at Swarthmore for their 2000th game in program history. Game time is 7 p.m.
