Final Stats

A 3-1 win over Jacksonville State University (4-11, 0-4 A-Sun) puts Florida Atlantic University's volleyball team (7-9, 4-0 A-Sun) atop the conference with an Atlantic Sun record of 4-0. The Lady Owls disposed of the Gamecocks 30-22, 30-27, and 30-25.

Play was distributed among the team as three players had double digit kills. Gracie Heim and Danyielle Smith both contributed 12 kills while Jessica Kahn had a game-high 13. Marja Valkeavuori led the team in service aces and blocks with 4 each.

Jeana Boyle showed some defense as she collected a double-double with a game-high 11 digs to go with her 34 assists.

Christa Cary carried the Gamecocks as she had 10 kills and nine digs.

FAU will play Samford University today at 2:00 pm eastern.
