Miami, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team wrapped up the three-round Ryder Florida State Championship on Sunday afternoon in Miami, FL. June Bolme (79, 77, 77 -233) shot 5-over par at the final round of the par 72, 6,210 yard Don Shula Golf Course. She finished in a tie for 16th place.

Jennifer Norton (78, 79, 78 -235) used a 6-over-par showing in the final round to finish in a tie for 22nd. Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn (80, 80, 78 -245), Kimberly D'Andrea (83, 85, 77 -245), and Karine Bolme (86, 80, 80 -246) round out the Owls field with a tie for 30th and 45th and 46th place respectively.

FAU (320, 316, 310 -946) finished in seventh place out of a 12-team Florida school field. USF (307, 305, 296 -908) won the tournament with a 10-stroke cushion. Their golfer Christina Jones (77, 73, 72 -222) shot an even par on the final day and finished the event shooting 6-over par.

The Owls will conclude the 2006-2007 season with the Sun Belt tournament that begins on Monday, April 16th.
