The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team continues its road trip Saturday afternoon with another Atlantic Sun Conference game against Jacksonville University. The game begins at 2:00pm at Swisher Gym and will be broadcast live on WLVJ 1040-AM.

FAU (3-9, 1-0 A-Sun) is coming off of Thursday's 86-70 win at Stetson. Crystal Boyland had a career night in the A-Sun opener with 26 points and 11 rebounds, both career highs. Three other Lady Owls were in double-figures with Tamica Pierce scoring 15. Shontavia Williams had a season-high 12 points while DeeAnna Hanscom tossed in 10.

Pierce leads FAU with 13.7 points per game while Boyland is averaging 11.0.

Jacksonville (2-9, 0-1) enters the contest with a six-game losing streak. The Dolphins were defeated on Thursday, 55-47, by Central Florida. JU is led by Kat Sungy, who is averaging 13.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

FAU leads the all-time series 4-2 and is 2-1 at Jacksonville. The teams split their season series last year with the road team winning both times.
