The Fayetteville State University Lady Broncos defeated Elizabeth City State University 9-0 in a conference match before taking their Easter break. The win was the Lady Broncos 11th-consecutive conference regular season victory and left the players undefeated in 2007 conference action. With the win, the Lady Broncos improved the season mark to 14-4.

The match of the evening and the one spectators were waiting was the sister match between FSU's Constance Lee and her sister ECSU's Lauren Lee. Constance Lee diminished her younger sister, 8-2.

In the second match, a non-conference contest, the Lady Broncos completed a 9-0 shutout of the Lady Vikings and ran their streak of blanking their opponents to 11 consecutive matches. Ines Nieves ran her unbeaten streak to 19 consecutive matches and FSU's tennis players remains undefeated in conference action for the 2007 season.
