Kelly had a very successful high school career in both Field Hockey and Softball. She was a four-year varsity athlete in both sports and was twice named Western Maine First-Team All-Conference. The Gray-New Gloucester softball team won the state championship twice and Kelly was an All-State Runner Up, during her senior season.

Kelly pitched and played first base for the Gulls last season.
