BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College relied on 12 first half goals to get past the University of Southern Maine, 16-0, Friday afternoon in non-conference women's lacrosse action.

Senior co-captain Cathy Sharp (Rutland, VT/Rutland) sparked Endicott (2-1), scoring six goals while freshmen Sara Gunter (Kennebunk, ME/Kennebunk) and Alex Pearce (Underhill, CT/Kimball Union Academy) each notched a hat trick in the win over Southern Maine (0-1).

Senior Susie Neikirk (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) scored two goals for Endicott, while Emily Judd (Peabody, MA/Peabody), Heather Hatfield (Tyngsboro/Tyngsboro), and Shiori Tachiwana (Kanagawa, Japan/Sakae Institiute) scored one goal each.

Junior Erin Curry (Hampstead, NH/Gould Academy) and freshman Molly Hamel (North Yarmouth, ME/Greely) combined for the win in goal.

The Gulls will host MIT next Wednesday afternoon (5:00 PM) and Southern Maine will look to get on track at Bates Wednesday night (7:00).
