EC Took Home Their First Victory of the Season

EC Field Hockey defeated Wheaton College to get their first victory of the season with a 2-1 score. Senior forward Jen McCormack scored the first goal of the game on an assist from freshman midfielder Kaitlin Gomes. EC kept the momentum going into the second half of the game when McCormack tallied the second goal, her third of the season, within the first two minutes of the half. Wheaton fought back scoring one goal in the second half, but it was not enough to break the Gulls' defense lead by senior captain Lisa Cote. This victory is the first Endicott Field Hockey win over the Lyons in four years. EC's next game is Thursday September 9th at 4pm at Framingham State.
