WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - Endicott College used a 47 point second half outpouring to glide past UMaine-Farmington, 76-53, on Saturday night in the opening game of the Williams' Holiday Tournament hosted by Williams College.

Endicott jumped out to a strong 8-2 advantage to open the contest. The Beavers battled their way back to within one as Amanda Byrne (Winslow, ME) connected on back-to-back jumpers to keep Farmington close early on.

Endicott closed out the opening half by building a 9-3 run that spanned just over five minutes. Nicole Young (Rockland, MA/Cardinal Spellman) capped off the surge by knocking down a nice jumper to give the Gulls a 29-23 halftime lead.

In the second frame, the Blue and Green dominated play. A six point lead quickly became a 47-31 advantage as the Gulls' defense forced three consecutive turnovers, while EC's offense finished on the opposite end.

A successful jumper by senior Aubrey Drugan (Salem, NH/Bishop Guertin) and a nice lay-in by Ceciley Chisholm (Lexington, MA/Lexington) gave Endicott a 20 point lead, an advantage that Farmington couldn't overcome.

Endicott was led Chisholm, who scored a game-high 16 points on an efficient 8-of-11 shooting. Junior Nicole Duchesne (Plaistow, NH/Central Catholic) was also once again impressive, as she racked-up 14 points and handed out seven assists in the win.
