QUINCY, MA - Endicott College began the second half on a 9-0 run and never looked back, defeating Eastern Nazarene, 65-36, Tuesday night in a Commonwealth Coast Conference game.

The Gulls owned a 50-38 rebounding advantage and put 12 players on the scoreboard to improve to 14-7 overall. Endicott maintained its hold on second place in the CCC North Division at 11-2.

Senior guard Jodi Brown (Coventry, RI/Coventry) led the balanced EC attack, scoring 13 points while freshman forward Nicole Young (Rockland, MA/Cardinal Spellman) added eight points and nine rebounds and junior guard Carly Haynes (Laconia, NH/Laconia) scored seven points. Freshman forward Nicole Duchesne (Plaistow, NH/Central Catholic), senior guard Liz Yuneman (Middle Village, NY/St. Francis Prep) and senior forward Sarah Voigt (Kingston, NH/Sanborn Regional) all put home six points in the win.

Endicott also received unselfish play from junior guard Kate Harte (Warner, NH/Kearsarge Regional), sophomore guard Aubrey Drugan (Salem, NH/Bishop Guertin) and freshman forward Hayley Janelle (Madbury, NH/Oyster River), who dished out four assists apiece. Brown and Drugan also made three steals each for Endicott, which forced the Crusaders into 22 turnovers.

The Gulls return home Saturday afternoon versus Curry College (1).
