PAXTON, MA - Mariano Pagano's (Buenos Aires, Argentina) first half goal was the difference in a 1-0 Endicott victory over Anna Maria Saturday in a CCC contest.

The Gulls upped their CCC record to 3-2-0 (3-7-0 overall) while AMC fell to 3-4-0 overall.

Pagano scored on a brilliant individual effort in the 22nd minute and sophomore goaltender Cameron Twiss (Reading, MA/Bishop Fenwick) made three saves to record the shutout.

Senior forward Josh Lewis (Groveland, MA/Pentucket) was robbed from point-blank range by senior netminder Todd Ames of Beverly. Ames had four saves in the first half that was predominately in the AMC end.

Seniors Daniel Duvernoy (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton) and Kyle Austin (Keene, NH/Keene) teamed up in the middle for another stellar performance for the Gulls, who travel to St. Joseph's College of Maine Monday.
