Endicott's Bethany Prussman took first place in her class at Zone Finals and Regional Finals this past weekend, helping the Gulls to their best finish in the history of the program.

Endicott Riders Enjoy Best Season Ever

Endicott Riders ended the season by winning the High Point School award at the UMass-Dartmouth show, racking up so many points they leaped from 5th place to Reserve Champion Team for the entire year. This is the best finish the team has ever achieved.

The College qualified nine riders to compete in zone finals held April 2. Endicott hosted the show at Springtide Farm. Those riding in Regional Finals were Haley Mackay, Chelsea Conant, Bethany Prussman, Karissa Bonner, AnneMarie Courcy, Elissa Paquin, Megan Piermarini, Olivia Koines, and Jennifer Roberts.

At Regionals, two riders qualified for Zone finals by coming in first in their Classes: Bethany Prussman in Walk-Trot-Canter and Jenn Roberts in Open over Fences. Zone finals were held at Mt. Holyoke College on April 8. At that show, Bethany Prussman came in third in her class while Jen received an 8th place. At Zone finals riders compete against the best rider in the Northeast.

Coach Stephanie Andreottola expressed her pride in the achievements of the team and their improvement over the year. Advisor Susan Koso noted the excellent leadership provided by team captain Bethany Prussman and the outstanding participation of team members in the various College events.

Graduating seniors, Megan Piermarini, Karissa Bonner, Emily Eurieck, Elissa Paquin, Sharalyn Prieskorn and Lauren Eldridge will be missed by everyone.
