Beth Prussman Earns 2nd Place |
The Endicott Riders competed at a show hosted by Wellesley College on Saturday, March 6th. Only 12 riders were allowed from each institution.
Open rider and co-captain Kate Sorenson turned an outstanding performance withfirst in Open Flat while Leah Aronow came in with a second. Elissa Paquin continued her streak since she has moved up to Intermediate Fences with a second place showing. Co-Captain Liz Duboc, in her first Over Fences class started well with a red ribbon. Bethany Prussman earned a second in Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter. Michaela Barbera took a spill in her Open Fences class when her horse pulled a rail, but got up with a smile.
The next show will be March 27th, hosted by Endicott at Twisdenwood farm in Georgetown. This is a great opportunity to see your team perform along with some of the best IHSA riders in the entire country. Directions are posted on the Equestrian web site. Classes start at 9:00 and food, 'way better than usual Horse Show fare, will be available.
