Chelsea Salisbury advanced to the NCAA National Championships with a 4th place finish in the hammer throw

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- East Carolina's Chelsea Salisbury advanced to the NCAA Championships after finishing fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 57.83 meters in the final day of the 2007 NCAA East Regionals on the campus of the University of Florida.

Salisbury will now join Terrance Myers, who will also compete in the hammer throw, as the duo travels to Sacramento, Calif. to compete in the NCAA National Championships June 6-9.

Camelia Morman finished 29th in the triple jump today with a mark of 11.92 meters. The mens' 4x400 meter relay team comprised of Brandon Small, David Rucker, Aidan Sanderson and Chris Richardson recorded a time of 3:12.02, earning them 13th place.
