Varsity Four Wins Gold at Govenor's Cup

CHALESTON, WV - The Duquesne crew competed at the WV Governor's Cup in Charleston, WV April 28. The regatta was structured with heats and finals. DU crews had a tremendous day, advancing to the finals in all boat categories.
Unfortunately, severe weather resulted in the cancellation of all but one final race. The high winds did not stop the varsity four from taking gold. The crew was awarded the Messiner Cup for their victory.
Coach Setting's team will be competing at the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Championships this weekend in Fairfax, Va.
