Stephanie Starkey was a 2007 Northern Athletics Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention women's soccer player as well as a NAC All-Rookie Team Member after her freshman season. During the year she started 18 games for the Stars and tallied four goals and three assists. At the end of the season Starkey was awarded the team's Most Improved Player Award.

At Jacobs High School, Starkey was a Fox Valley Conference All-Conference selection in 2006 as Jacobs was crowned Regional Champion.
