TOLEDO, Ohio - The Dayton volleyball team swept UNC-Greensboro on Friday at noon in its first match of the University of Toledo's Rocket Classic. The Flyers downed the Spartans 32-30, 30-24, 30-26, as Christy Utnage (Indianapolis, IN) recorded 11 kills and Faye Barhorst (Ft. Loramie, OH) and Shanna Pressler (Archbold, OH) each added 10.

Adrienne Green (Palatine, IL) had 25 digs from the libero position as the Flyers made lineup adjustments. With Andi Moran (St. Louis, MO) unable to make the trip, Nicole Schott (Roscoe, IL) returned to setter, where she had 35 assists.

The Flyers (4-3) are back in action later tonight against Wisconsin-Green Bay at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, UD will face Oakland at 3:00 p.m. and Toledo at 8:00 p.m.
