Feb. 9, 2007 After previously announcing three new members to the Dayton Flyers women's soccer team, head coach Mike Tucker added some reinforcements. Lindy Barber, Jessica Dause, Alli Giner, Samantha Shaffer and Lisa Rodgers will join the UD roster in 2007. The five incoming players will join fellow newcomers Kelly Blumenschein, Jerica DeWolfe and Tori Oelschlager on next year's squad. Tucker said these five newcomers will bring talent and versatility to the Flyers' lineup. The Dayton Flyers return all 11 starters from the 2006 team, which went 8-6-3 overall and 6-3-0 in the Atlantic 10.

Coach Tucker on Lindy Barber - "Equally adept in attacking or defending, this athletic midfielder will bring a strong competitive background to the Flyers. Coach Tucker on Jessica Dause - "With excellent speed and quickness, good technical abilities and a strong defensive background, Jessica will add depth and competitiveness in the back third. She is strong in the air and good in possession. With some time in the weight room Jessica could develop into a strong central defender."
