Results

Monroeville, PA - The Flyers were defeated by returning champion Richmond by a 4-2 decision Sunday at the 2005 Atlantic 10 Championship. This was the Flyers' first appearance in the Atlantic 10 tournament final round.

In early tournament play, Dayton first shut out Duquesne by a score of 4-0 to place them in the semifinal round. They defeated Xavier in the semifinals by a score of 4-1 that set up the Flyers for their final round match against Richmond.

The Flyers entered the tournament with a 14-6 record this spring and finished the season at 16-7 overall.
