CRITICAL A-10 CLASH ON SATURDAY BETWEEN DAYTON AND XAVIER
With both the Dayton Flyers and the Xavier Musketeers fighting to get in the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship, the stage is set for a high energy contest on Saturday night at Baujan Field.
The Flyers are in a three-way tie for the sixth and final spot in the tournament, while Xavier is three points behind. Dayton is unbeaten at home this season and have won three of its last four games. The Flyers are coming off a 1-0 victory over the Temple Owls thanks in part to stellar defensive play by the Flyers and a second half goal from sophomore Jeff Popella. Xavier is 2-2-0 in their last four games, but the two losses have gone into overtime. Fans can follow the game on Gametracker and a free live video broadcast on Dayton All-Access.
