Before the season began, Hartman won the coveted "Red Jersey" award, a symbol of physical and mental determination, competition, and pride...appeared in 10 games and made two starts...tallied eight shots with four of them on net...started the final two games of the season (Duquesne and Massachusetts in the A-10 Tournament)...earned the "Coaches Achievement Award."

2006
Hartman played in four games for UD...made his collegiate debut against Xavier...also appeared against La Salle, UMass and Rhode Island...tallied a shot on goal against Rhode Island.

Prior to UD
Named the 2005 D-III Ohio Player of the Year...adidas/NSCAA All-American...his team was also the 2005 D-III State Champions...named to the All-Conference team...was a team co-captain and had 36 goals and 20 assists...during his junior year he was Third Team All-Ohio, First Team All-District and named to the All-Conference team...Scored 24 goals and had 11 assists in his junior season...also played for the Beavercreek Celtics Premier during his freshman and sophomore years...he also competed in track where he was the D-II runner-up in the 400 meters...was named to the All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio teams in track his senior year...also was a state qualifier in the 400 meters as a junior...V-P of the National Honor Society and was a Co-Valedictorian.

Son of Michael and Marcia Hartman and has a brother Joshua...born October 20, 1987...majoring in pre-physical therapy.
