The University of Dayton men's and women's golf teams started their respective Spring seasons on Monday. The UD men finished Day One of the Grover Page Classic in ninth place out of 14 teams. Dayton's women finished the first round of the Big River Telephone Classic in 10th place out of 11 teams.

The Flyer men combined for a two round score of 614 at the Pickwick Dam Village Golf Course in Pickwick Dam, TN. Senior Brett Gould led the Flyers with a 75 in the first round and 72 in round two for a combined score of 147. He enters Tuesday's final round the tournament hosted by UT-Martin tied for 14th place. The UD women shot 382 as a team after one round at the Miller Memorial Golf Course in Murray, Ky. Junior Lindsey Greuter led Dayton with an 89 in the first round to tie for 39th place out of 70 competitors at the tournament hosted by Murray State.
