AT DAYTON: Kelly led the Pioneer Football League and was tied for 19th in the nation in tackles (10.10) last season, and was named 2007 First Team Pre-Season All-PFL by Phil Steele's College Football Preview Magazine. In addition to his 101 tackles in 2006, Kelly also had 6.5 tackles in the backfield, two sacks, three passes batted down and forced one fumble. He was named the 2006 winner of UD's Chief Toscani Hitter Award. A two-time Second Team All-PFL selection, Kelly was the second-leading Flyer in tackles (67, 26 unassisted) in 2005. He was also responsible for a blocked punt return and a fumble return. He played in all ten games in 2005, starting in six. He earned his first letter in 2004 by playing in all ten games and getting in on nine tackles (five solo). The 2007 co-captain is a two-time PFL All- Academic selection (first team in 2006, second team in 2005) and is a fourtime member of the Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Son of Keith and Peggy Kelly...Born on August 21, 1985...Majoring in Pre-Med...He was team captain and MVP in football, and was named first team all-conference as a senior. He also wrestled and played baseball.
