William Michael Brady joined the Flyers as a recruited walk-on last season. He played in one game as a freshman. A two-sport standout for Bloomington Central Catholic, Brady chose to pursue basketball in college after being named Third Team Class A All-Illinois as a senior. He averaged 22.1 points a game and was named the Corn Belt Conference MVP.

A four-year letterwinner and three-year starter, he was on teams that reached the Illinois Elite 8 in 2002 and won the league championship in 2003. In football, he was team MVP and first team all-conference after catching 43 passes for 779 yards and scoring six touchdowns.

Brady has a sister Katie (21) and a brother Duncan (13).
