2006
First Team All Atlantic 10...Led the A-10 with a school record 10 saves...Went 4-1 with a 3.00 ERA and converted 10 of 12 save opportunities...Struck out 24 batters in 33.0 innings pitched...Recorded saves against A-10 opponents La Salle, Duquesne, Xavier, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis, Charlotte and Fordham...Struck out five 49ers in 3.1 scoreless innings of work in UD's 6-5 extra-inning win over Charlotte...Also started 38 games at first base and designated hitter...Had a .283 batting average with 15 doubles, three homers, 24 runs scored and 29 RBI...Had a school-record with nine RBI in a 28-7 win at IPFW...He went 5-for-6 with a double, home run and four runs scored against the Mastodons.
2005
He made 13 appearances as the Flyers' closer and also started 37 games at first base...Tied for fourth in the A-10 in saves with seven...He converted seven on eight save chances in 2005 and 21 of his last 22 over the past two seasons...Closed out a series victory over #19 Notre Dame with a strikeout for his first save as a Flyer...Had four multi-strikeout innings including outings against Marshall, St. Bonaventure, IPFW and George Washington...After just two hits in his first 22 at bats, He closed out the season with a .245 average after March 17 with a .320 on base percentage, five doubles, a home run, 16 runs scored and 10 RBI.
Prior to UD
At University High School, he was named First team All-Conference as a senior, Second Team as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore at University High School...Was named to the NJCAA All-Region Second Team in his final year at Kankakee Community College...At Kankakee he hit .241 with 24 RBI and 36 runs scored as a freshman...He improved his numbers to a .343 batting average with 50 RBI and 37 runs scored as a sophomore, which included 14 doubles, three triples and eight home runs.
Personal
A mechanical engineering major, Rohren was born on February 17, 1984...He is the son of Steve and Rhonda Rohren...He has two sisters, Jenny and Erica.
