Freshman Averaged 19.7 points in three games

Benike averaged 19.7 ppg and 6.3 rpg on the week

Grand Rapids, Mich. - Kallie Benike has been named the WHAC Player of the Week for her efforts last week while leading the Panthers to a 2-1 record. The Freshman from Campbellsport, WI has been battling a knee injury from early in the season but stepped up huge for the Panthers in wins over Grace Bible College and Bethel College (TN).

Although she was unable to help her team to a victory against Trinity Christian last Saturday, Benike posted one of her best games of the year with 23 points and 11 rebounds. For the week, the 5'8 guard averaged 19.7 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 2.0 apg while shooting 43% from the floor. Kallie will look to help her team get back on the winning track this Wednesday when they host Calumet College at 7:00 PM.
