Panthers to Host Cornerstone Saturday at 5:00 PM The men's soccer team will conclude its regular season on Tuesday when they host Taylor University, but the real action will take place at The South Christian Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon. After tying Cornerstone in the conference standings, the Panthers earned the #2 seed in the WHAC tourney and by virtue of a tie-breaker have earned the right to host the semifinal at 5:00 against the Golden Eagles. The two teams split their season series, each winning at home and is one of two semifinal games on the day which will determine who will play for a WHAC Championship. The Week Ahead in Panther Athletics As the fall sports season start to wind down, the hockey team will take center stage this week as it is "Homecoming Week" for Davenport University. The week in athletics gets underway by the women's volleyball team as they will travel to Madonna University for a conference match-up with the Crusaders and then they will host Concordia University on Thursday night at 7:00. The men's soccer team, fresh off claiming the #2 seed in the upcoming WHAC tournament, will host their regular season finale on Tuesday when they take on Taylor University. Their big game this week will be when they host Cornerstone University in the Semifinals of the post-season tournament. Patterson Ice Center will be center-stage on Friday when the men's hockey team welcomes in GMHL rival Michigan State University for a homecoming showdown with the Spartans.
