Davis, Calif. - Brittany Moore slammed 21 kills and Erin Saddler recorded a career-high 11 blocks as Cal State Fullerton edged UC Davis 3-2 in a Big West Conference volleyball match Friday night at The Pavillion.

The Titans improved to 10-9 overall and 5-3 in league action with the 27-30, 30-25, 30-18, 17-30, 15-9 victory, while the Aggies remain winless in the Big West, falling to 3-18, 0-9. Fullerton also evened their record in five-game matches at 3-3.

Coming off a career-high 30-kills last Friday night, Moore scored her fourth-consecutive double-double, with 21 kills and 11 digs against the Aggies. The junior from Orange, Calif. also served up a pair of aces and collected three blocks on the night. Alex Wolnisty was the only other Titan in double figures offensively, posting a 13-kill performance also hitting a game-high .464.

Kalay Varney led a quartet of Aggies with 10-or-more kills, posting 16 while also grabbing 22 digs along the way. Aggie Avreeta Singh's 29 digs led all players.

Five Titans scooped double digits in digs on the night, with Cami Croteau's 23 leading the Fullerton back court.

The Titans were dominant at the net, out-blocking the Aggies 19.5 to 7.0 led by Saddler who became just the third person in Titan history to record a 10-block assists night. She and Wolnisty finished with 11 blocks, while Wolnisty led all players with three solos.

Davis' Kelly Patterson was the busiest defender at the net, stuffing her share of six Titan attack attempts, one of them a solo block.

Fullerton hit just .172 on the match with their best effort coming in the fifth and final frame, hitting .222. Davis hit .099 on the match and hit as high as .245 in game number four.

Fullerton will travel to Stockton on Saturday to face the Tigers of Pacific at 7 p.m. With a win, the Titans will tie a school record for the most conference victories in a season with six. No Fullerton squad has ever won seven league matches.
