Player Profile

Position:
Volunteer Assistant Coach (2nd Season)

Cal State Fullerton volunteer assistant coach Janet Lee returns for her second season, bringing with her 11 years of professional playing experience.

Tennis has been a major part of her life since she was first introduced to the sport at the age of five. Lee achieved success early on and exceled through the junior ranks while continuing to dedicate herself to the game.

Upon high school graduation, she decided to pursue a professional tennis career with the intention of one day pursuing a college education once her playing days were over. Since then, Janet has competed in the Olympics, Fed Cup, Asian Games, and all four of the grand slams with her best showing of a quarterfinal finish in doubles coming at the 2004 US Open.

She achieved a career-high ranking of No.79 in singles and No.20 in doubles along with numerous titles to her credit.

Having recently ended her playing career, Lee is now enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Cal State Fullerton where she is majoring in business. She is excited for the opportunity to contribute to the team and aspires to help the players realize their potential.
