Cal State Fullerton senior Maria Blazquez finished ninth with a time of 18:11 while Damien Nieves was seventh on the men's side to lead the Titans' efforts at the 25th annual UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday morning in Riverside, Calif.
The Titan women took home the team title in the 5K run with 96 points, placing their top five runners in the top 30 and finishing six points ahead of second-place San Jose State. Concordia University was third with 110 points.
Karina Ortiz (14th - 18:29.40), Juliane Masciana (20th - 18:39.50), Carolyn Ellis (23rd - 18:43.80), and Michelle Acosta (30th - 19:00.60) all contributed to the Fullerton scoring effort.
Nieves finished the men's 8K course in 25:10.80 and was joined in the top 30 by Jason Graney, who finished 30th with a tie of 26:16.
Cal Poly won the team title with 51 points, followed by Concordia (70) and host UC Riverside (80). Fullerton was seventh with 170 points.

The Titans will take the next two weeks off before heading north to Sunnyvale, Calif., to compete in the Santa Clara Invitational on Oct. 15.
