Fullerton, CA - Damage from winter rainstorms has caused the annual Fullerton Season Opener Meet to be moved from Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea to Craig Regional Park in Fullerton for the Sept. 3 meet.

2005 FULLERTON SEASON OPENER CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

DATE: Saturday, September 3rd

SITE: NEW SITE!!! Craig Regional Park, Fullerton, CA

TIME: Men's 8K - 8:30am. Women's 5K - 9:15am.

COURSE: Predominantly flat with some moderate hills. Course surface alternates between thick grass, concrete pathways, and dirt trails. Spiked racing shoes are not recommended.

ENTRY FEE: $75 per team (unlimited entries): Men + Women = $150. $15 per individual entry. Make checks payable to: Associated Students. Send entry fee to: John Elders Cross Country Office Cal State Fullerton P. O. Box 6810 Fullerton, CA 92834-6810

DEADLINE: Entry list due to Don Chadez no later than 5:00pm PST on Tuesday, August 30th. No meet day entries.

DIVISIONS: A collegiate division and open division will be separated in the results for the purposes of team scoring and awards.

AWARDS: Collegiate Division - Top 10 Individual Finishers; Top 2 Teams. Open Division - Top 5 Individual Finishers; Winning Team Only.

LODGING: Contact Coach Elders for information on local hotels.

PARKING: Craig Regional Park charges $5 per vehicle on weekends. Start/Finish area is located at the extreme south end of the park. Please park anywhere south of the lake. Buses may park in the dirt overflow parking area.
