Harriers Compete At Salty Sea Dog Invite

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Cleveland State finished 12th at the Salty Sea Dog Invite hosted by Navy on Saturday. Navy won the event with a team score of 50, narrowly edging out Maryland who was second with 52 points. Sophomore Lindsay Bukovec (Willowick, Ohio/Eastlake North) paced CSU with a time of 21:15.11 to finish 78th overall. Junior Rachel Smith (Broadview Heights, Ohio/North Royalton) was second on the squad with a time of 21:38.63. American's Samia Akbar took top individual honors with a time of 18:10.08. The Vikings are in action again on Saturday, Sept. 21 when they compete in the New York University Invitational. |
