CHICAGO - The Cleveland State volleyball team is glad to be done with this year's swing through Chicago. Loyola (14-13, 8-3 Horizon League) handed the Vikings (15-14, 2-9) a 30-21, 30-24, 33-31 defeat Saturday night, just the third time that CSU has been swept all year. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 0-10 all-time at Loyola and 0-26 in the Windy City when factoring in their record at Illinois-Chicago.

The Ramblers out-hit CSU .273 to .151 and posted 62 digs to the Vikings' 44.

Junior middle hitter Jamie Bouyer (Bedford Heights, Ohio/Chanel) paced CSU with nine kills and five blocks, while sophomore setter Katie Calhoon (Mansfield, Ohio/Madison) tallied 19 assists and 13 digs.

Loyola setter Lauren Holbrook had 10 kills, 35 assists and 13 digs for her second triple-double of the season against the Vikings. Nichol Amberg led all players with 16 kills and 14 digs.

Cleveland State is in action again when the Vikings return home for a pair of matches next weekend. On Friday, Nov. 7, CSU will face Wright State at 7:00 p.m., followed by a contest the next day against Butler at 2:00 p.m. Senior Day ceremonies will be held prior to Saturday's match.
