Brett Aronson Named Men's Tennis Player Of The Week

March 23, 2005

After going 4-0 at No. 5 and No. 6 singles last week at the Vikings' spring training trip, junior Brett Aronson has been named the Horizon League's Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced on March 23.

Aronson picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win over Nathan Carvalho of Rhode Island and scored No. 6 singles wins against Illinois Wesleyan (6-1, 6-2), Bucknell (6-1, 6-3) and Knox College (6-1, 6-4). He also helped the No. 2 doubles team to a pair of wins.

Aronson's 10 wins on the season ties him for the most on the team with junior Jordan Reynolds, while his .714 winning percentage (10-4) is tops for the Vikings.
