Men's Golf In 13th At The Irish Invitational

HOWIE-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 323 and 328 and currently stands in 13th after the first day of the Notre Dame Irish Invitational. The Vikings are competing in their first tournament of the spring at the Mission Inn Golf Club in Howie-in-the-Hills, Fla. Wichita State leads the team competition at 573 and is 12 shots clear of Colorado State. The Shockers have three of the four top individuals as Judd Easterling is tied with San Diego State's Andrew Scott at 141. Doug Barber paced the Vikings with a 157 (79-78) and stands 47th, while Ben Grandy is just a shot back (77-81) in 53rd. The tournament concludes with the final 18 holes on Tuesday morning (March 8).
