Mike Redell is a winner. The point guard of the future for the Vikings, Redell is a perfect fit for CSU's blue collar playing style. He has honed his basketball skills through countless hours in the gym, knowing full well the type of commitment needed to succeed. He takes charge of a game when he steps onto the court, displaying a knack for getting the most out of his teammates.

Two-time first team team all-state choice by the Associated Press at Rockford High, playing for coach Steve Majerle.
Averaged 18.1 points, 4.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds a game as a senior, shooting .370 from three-point (64-173) and .766 from the line (82-107).
Finished career with 1,001 points in three seasons at Rockford, adding 326 assists, 183 three-pointers and a .732 free throw percentage (204-279) in 72 games.
Helped team amass a 65-10 record at Rockford, including a 28-0 mark as a junior when he guided team to the state class A state title.
Averaged 14.3 points and 4.8 assists as a junior,shooting .419 from three-point (80-191) and .719 from the line (82-114).
All-conference and all-area choice as a sophomore after averging 9.6 points and 4.3 rebounds, helping team to a 22-1 record.
