The wild card in the post this year, Renard Fields will once again come off the bench to bolster the Vikings inside game. He has had to fight for every minute of playing time the last four years on teams that were both deep and talented inside, instilling in him a competitiveness that helped him to learn how to do the little things -- rebounding, blocking shots and running the floor while his offensive efficiency allows him to take advantage of his scoring opportunities.

2007-08 SEASON:
• Came off the bench to play in 29 of the 31 games, averaging 11.5 minutes a game.
• Only player on the team to shoot better than 50-percent from the field (24-47, .511).
• Averaged 2.9 rebounds a game, finishing second on the squad with 23 blocked shots.

• Scored seven points, on 3-for-3 shooting, with three rebounds at Kansas State (12/5/06).
• Played a key role in win over Kent State (11/29/06), scoring six points with six rebounds in 14 minutes. • Had three blocks with four rebounds vs. John Carroll (11/22/06).

CSU CAREER:
• Averaged 6.5 minutes a game off the bench as a freshman, shooting a team-best .600 from the field (12-20).
