Clemson volleyball head coach Jolene Jordan Hoover was recently named to the Missouri Valley Conference's volleyball All-Centennial team as part of the league's Centennial Celebration. Team composition for each sport was determined through an online fan vote and by a centennial committee.

"I feel extremely honored to be a part of this group," Hoover said. "There have been so many great players who have represented the Missouri Valley and Illinois State. I take it as a huge compliment that I am still remembered after all this time and very appreciative of the honor!"

Hoover led the Redbirds to four conference championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances during her career. She was named to the all-conference team in 1983 and 1985 and was selected as the MVC Player-of-the-Year in 1985. Hoover also earned All-America honors while at Illinois State.

The Tigers just completed their 14th season under Hoover's leadership, finishing with a 20-10 overall record and 15-7 ACC ledger that ranked them third in the league. She now boasts a 285-171 record while at the helm of the Clemson program. This season, Hoover guided sophomores Jeannette Abbott and Danielle Hepburn to All-Region and first-team All-ACC honors, while freshmen Didem Ege and Kelsey Murphy also earned selections to the ACC All-Freshman team.
