CLEMSON, SC - The Tigers will welcome ACC-foe Georgia Tech to Jervey Gymnasium on Tuesday night for a mid-week volleyball match. The contest is slated for a 7:00 pm start-time and is scheduled to be streamed over the Internet. Fans can access the broadcast on www.accselect.com or by clicking on the video streaming link on www.clemsontigers.com. They may also follow the action via livestats on the Clemson Athletics home page.

Clemson is riding a seven-match winning streak that has improved its record to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in the ACC, while the Yellow Jackets own a 10-8 overall record with a 2-6 conference mark.

A pair of Clemson players are atop the ACC in respective categories. Danielle Hepburn's .395 hitting percentage leads the conference, while Jeannette Abbott is averaging a league-best 4.40 kills per game. Hepburn was also ranked 10th in the nation last week with a 1.63 blocks per game average and improved the figure to 1.70 with 14 total blocks last weekend. New rankings are released on Tuesday evening. The sophomore from Miami, FL has posted 17 solo blocks with 80 block assists.

Freshman Kesley Murphy has a team-best 441 set assists, while fellow rookie Didem Ege leads the Tigers with 260 defensive saves.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
Georgia Tech enters Tuesday's match with a 10-8 overall record and a 2-6 mark against ACC opponents. Most recently, the Yellow Jackets swept North Carolina and NC State at home.

Talisa Kellogg leads Georgia Tech with 227 kills with 43 total blocks. Ulrike Stegeman boasts a team-best .334 hitting percentage, while Erin Birmingham leads the team with 64 total blocks. Overall, the Yellow Jackets are averaging 2.44 blocks per game while hitting a .274 percentage.

Clemson vs. Georgia Tech, The Series
Clemson leads the overall series against Georgia Tech, 28-18, dating to the first meeting in 1977. The Yellow Jackets, however, won two hard-fought matches during the 2005 season. They claimed a 3-0 victory on Oct. 18 in Atlanta, GA, edging the Tigers in the second and third games by just two points, and a 3-2 decision on Nov. 15 at Jervey Gym. The Tigers' last victory over Georgia Tech was in the 2004 ACC Tournament, a 3-1 upset over the #1-seeded Yellow Jackets.
