Sophomore Gisele Oliveira will compete for her second All-America title in as many days as she contests the finals of the triple jump on Saturday. On Friday, she earned All-America accolades in the long jump with an eighth-place finish.

SACRAMENTO, CA - Clemson's Gisele Oliveira earned All-America honors in the long jump on the third day of the NCAA Championships held at the A.G. Spanos Sports Complex on the campus of Sacramento State University. The sophomore from Porto Alegre, Brazil, placed eighth in the event with a mark of 20'5.75". Oliveira ranks second on the Lady Tigers' all-time long jump list with a mark of 20'11.75" set earlier this season. She will also compete in the finals of the triple jump on Saturday.

Lauren Nicholson is in 19th place after the first day of competition in the heptathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The senior from Marietta, GA, scored 3,051 points in the first four events contested on Friday. In the first event of the day, the 100m hurdles, Nicholson clocked a 14.31, then cleared 5'3.75" in the high jump. She posted a mark of 30'10.25" in the shot put and ran a time of 25.22 in the 200m dash. The heptathlon will conclude with the long jump, javelin and 800m run on Saturday at the A.G. Spanos Sports Complex.
