FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Clemson's Silja Ulfarsdottir opened competition for the Lady Tigers at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Randal Tyson Track Center. The senior from Reyjkavic, Iceland, posted a time of 53.65 in the preliminaries of the 400m dash, but did not advance to the finals of the event.

Ulfarsdottir will compete on Saturday as a member of the Lady Tigers' 4x400m relay team. They will be joined by senior Gisele Oliveira, who will compete in the triple jump.
